Lucinda Russell made it three-nil to the Brits as the Scottish trainer took the Grade 3 Ultima Handicap Chase at Cheltenham.

David Pipe's bottom weight Gericault Roque had looked a likely winner, making all the running but was joined by Colin Tizzard's Oscar Elite at the business end.

Yet, it was Scottish trainer Russell's Corach Rambler who stayed on with pace and purpose under a masterful hold-up ride from Derek Fox, to emerge in between those two runners and claim an eye-catching win from miles back.

The 24 runner, three miles, one furlong test always comes down to staying power and Corach Rambler had that in spades, running on to a two and three quarter length win from Gericault Roque with Oscar Elite in third, Tea Clipper fourth and Our Power in fifth.
