Nicky Henderson's potent pairing of Constitution Hill and Jonbon and the Willie Mullins trained duo of Dysart Dynamo and Sir Gerhard are among the 61 entries for the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham.

The event, due to be held on Tuesday March 15, saw entries drop from 96 last season, but that doesnt detract from the race's potential to be one of the most eagerly anticipated in several years.

The slight favourite at this stage is Constitution Hill, following his brilliant display in the Tolworth Hurdle at Sandown, while his stablemate Jonbon topped up his unbeaten record with a workmanlike display at Haydock on Saturday.

Willie Mullins has a very strong hand himself and his Dysart Dynamo, meanwhile, has risen from what seems like nowhere to becoming a big player after his eye-catching recent victory in the Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle at Punchestown.

Sir Gerhard, winner of last season's Champion Bumper, is the relative outsider of the quartet, despite his thoroughly impressive hurdling debut at Leopardstown over the Christmas period, which shows the strength in depth of the Supreme in 2022.
All four horses, like several others, are also among the 95 entries for the longer Ballymore Novices' Hurdle.
Gordon Elliott's Mighty Potter, who has already won a Grade 1 novice event, is also double booked, whereas the Paul Nicholls-trained Stage Star is just in the Ballymore.
