For Wednesday's tip we're heading to Leicester for the Class 3 Leicester Racecourse Ideal Conference Venue Handicap Chase (15:20) over two-and-a-half miles, where we're siding with Flegmatik.
Dan Skelton's seven-year-old still has time on his side and shaped encouragingly last time at Kempton, when under eight lengths third in a Class 2 handicap chase over three miles.
He wore a tongue-tie for the first time there, on what was his first run after wind surgery and, that is retained for this drop back in trip.
He'll appreciate the good ground at Leicester. Harry Skelton can make plenty of use of him given that we know he gets further, and he is well treated on his best form.
It's also possible that he could improve by a few pounds more anyway, so in what looks an open race on paper, we'll take Flegmatik to record his first win in almost 16 months.
