The Donald McCain team is enjoying a superb season and could scarcely be in better form.
He saddles an eight-year-old by the name of Court Jurado in the Hellesdon Leather & Cloth Furniture Company Handicap Chase (15.22) and I think this could be another winner for the Cheshire trainer.
Ok, so before you start to get out the wheelbarrow, first up is the element of caution. He is 1-14 over fences.
That aside, however, there are factors in his favour here. Aside from the red hot stable form, he returns here from wind surgery after a below par effort over hurdles at Musselburgh last month.
That sole chase win came here over C&D on soft. It's forecast to be good at Fakenham, but he acts on that too. He races here from a mark of just 89 and on more than one piece of form from as recent as the autumn, he is potentially chucked in now. Add to that a 7lb claim of Peter Kavanagh and there are several reasons why Wednesday could be his day.
So it's Court Jurado to come back to form with a win in the 15.22 at Fakenham on Wednesday.
