Friday's nap goes in the Off The Fence On youtube.com/attheraces Handicap Hurdle (15:40) over an extended two miles.
Donald McCain-trained Kayfast Warrior failed to justify favouritism at Wetherby last time, having won over the same course the time before.
It may have been the combination of three races in relatively quick succession that took its toll on the four-year-old, although jockey Brian Hughes seemed to suggest afterwards that the ground down the back straight at the A1 course was very testing last time and difficult for young horses to handle.
Hughes will again be on board the son of No Nay Never at Bangor and I think this youngster is worth another chance, especially given the yard's red hot recent form. He's only had those three hurdles outings and it's hard to believe that his best days are not ahead of him.
So, it's Kayfast Warrior for Friday's tip in the 15.40 at Bangor.
