Realm Keeper goes in the Racing TV Free For A Month Handicap Chase (14.15), where he'll take on five opponents.
A dual winner when trained in France, he took a while to warm to his task on joining Venetia's team and had wind surgery after his first start for the trainer two years ago.
A slide in the weights and a drop in trip enabled him to break his British duck in a two-mile-three-and-a-half furlong chase on soft ground at Fontwell last March, when he won by a ready six lengths.
He backed that up with an eased down Carlisle win (2m4f, soft) a couple of weeks later, when 8lb higher.
The last time we saw him, he didn't jump well in the Topham over the Grand National fences at Aintree, but that can happen.
He's been off for the best part of 10-months now, so returns very fresh and also had a second wind operation last October.
With conditions at Wetherby to his liking, we'll side with Realm Keeper, who may still be ahead of the handicapper.
The Venetia Williams team is in cracking form and we're going to side with one of her inmates as our top tip for Thursday.
