Friday is Ladies' Day at Ayr, so get your glad rags on and let us steer you through an interesting card that features two Listed races - Harry Rosebery Stakes and the Arran Scottish Sprint EBF Fillies’ Stakes.

Before we get stuck into a bit of detail on our highlighted horses, lets have a quick run through our selections for Friday's racing at Ayr. You can get the latest racecards and results from the track by using the Planet Sport live race centre.

Selections:

13:25 (Ayr) Claretina
14:00 (Ayr) Reward Smile

14:35 (Ayr) Prince Of Pillo

15:10 (Ayr) Mo Celita

15:45 (Ayr) Music Society

16:20 (Ayr) Ayr Poet
16:50 (Ayr) Albegrey
17:20 (Ayr) Red Bond

14:35 (Ayr) Prince Of Pillo

Prince Of Pillo makes a swift return to action in Ayr's British EBF Stallions Harry Rosebery Stakes.
A winner at the Scottish track and Ripon previously, he took a big step up in class to contest the Group Two Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster on Sunday.
He proved no match for Trillium and The Platinum Queen, who had the race between themselves, but he was not disgraced in finishing a six-length fourth, with a fair yardstick in Crispy Cat in third.
This Listed race is a drop in grade, although far from an easy contest for Prince Of Pillo, but he can put his recent lessons to good use.
Prince Of Pillo's main rivals include Roger Varian's consistent colt Bolt Action and Kerindia from Michael Bell's yard.

15:10 (Ayr) Mo Celita

Mo Celita is another who ran at Doncaster's St Leger meeting, taking a creditable second to the progressive Manaccan in the Listed Scarbrough Stakes.
The five furlongs on Town Moor looked a bit sharp for Adrian Nicholls' charge, who was beaten a length and a half after just lacking the extra gear of the winner.
An extra half-furlong in the Arran Scottish Sprint EBF Fillies' Stakes should suit, as will the expected ease in the ground.

The big challenge will come from Gale Force Maya who is looking to claim her fifth victory of the season for in-form trainer Michael Dods.

The Darlington-based trainer has his string firing on all cylinders following doubles at both Thirsk and Redcar earlier in the week and has high hopes of adding to his tally with one of his stable stars.
Gale Force Maya made a successful start to her campaign at Newmarket's Craven meeting in April and has subsequently struck gold three times at York, most recently breaking her duck in Listed company.

15:45 (Ayr) Music Society

Previous winner of this race, Music Society, is the choice in the Virgin Bet Ayr Bronze Cup Handicap after a narrow Thirsk defeat on his most recent outing.

It's a wide-open renewal so previous course and distance winner Beltane is a likely challenger.
Keith Dalglish's three-year-old lost a race in the stewards' room here in July on his second start following wind surgery, but that solidified his liking for the track and the lightly-raced gelding could have more to offer.
Monsieur Kodi has been in good form this season and would have a chance if putting a below-par effort at Windsor behind him, while Beattie Is Back and Grantley Hall are others to consider.
