Saturday's bet365 Premier Chase (14:40) at Kelso on Saturday has drawn a classy field. None more so than the races' top BHA-rated runner, Espoir De Romay.

Trainer Kim Bailey has, as usual, given this eight-year-old some time off during the worst of the winter ground, and brings him back for what could be a fruitful spring campaign.
A beaten favourite when last seen at Carlisle in October, he goes into this Listed contest at Kelso with what looks to be a significant pull at the weights with his opponents, compared to if this were a handicap.
He's won two of his five chases so far, he is unexposed over this three-mile trip, he acts on the forecast good to soft ground, and he has the look of a good thing.

So, it's Espoir De Romay in Kelso's 14:40 on Saturday.
