17:30 Wolverhampton - Sweet Bertie
The John Butler stable can do little wrong at present and this looks as good an opportunity as any for Sweet Bertie to regain the winning thread, having gone close on his last two outings over further.
Global Vision looked as though he was in need of a step up in trip on his stable debut last month, whereas C&D winner Sparkle In His Eye is very interesting coming back to his optimum trip.
Luxy Lou and Inexplicable are likely to be thereabouts as well.
18:00 Wolverhampton - Progressive
Nicky Henderson has significantly bigger fish to fry this week but a winner is a winner and Progressive can give the Seven Barrows team a boost with victory in the Play 4 To Win At Betway Handicap at Wolverhampton.
She struck over the same 12 furlongs she faces here in January, before having to settle for second at Newcastle a week later in a trappy three-runner affair.
Well beaten over hurdles at Doncaster in the interim, a return to the Flat all-weather might be what she needs.
18:30 Wolverhampton - Eternal Summer
Eternal Summer is the choice in the MansionBet Proud Partners Of AWC Novice Stakes after only just missing out on her racecourse bow.
Beaten a neck by Nankeen over this extended mile in December, she was staying on all the way and should be wiser for the experience.
