Here's some finer detail on Planet Sport's picks from Kelso on Saturday, March 5.
13.32 Kelso - Sholokjack
Pete's very much for four-timer chasing Sholokjack for the Team Skelton yard in the Grade 2 bet365 Premier Novices' Hurdle.
Most recently a simple winner at Wetherby, Sholokjack has won all his three career starts.
Harry Skelton makes the long drive from Warwickshire to ride and here are some snippets of why Sholokjack can succeed at Kelso.
"Now I think this horse has real potential…An impressive win at Wetherby recently. Two wins from two, you can't argue with that for Dan Skelton.
They've obviously seen an awful lot because they've taken this horse from fairly low graded runs and thrown him straight in, higher up to a Grade 2…I want to get on this horse now."
Further kicking Kelso tips
In the 14.05, Donald McCain can profit from not sending many horses to Cheltenham this year and his hat-trick chasing Hart Of Steel can forge a win in this one.
Kin Bailey's Espoir De Romay can add a touch of class to the 14.40 with the last time out beaten favourite likely to make amends under David Bass.
Last but not least Nicky Henderson's uber-talented Buveur D'Air can roll back the years and show the younger Metier what it's all about in the 15.15.
