Tigerten (15.30 Ludlow)

Give Me A Copper (16.00 Ludlow)

Here's some more juicy details on Planet Sport's three main picks from Ludlow.

13.30 Ludlow - Hidor De Bersy

Tom Symonds sends Hidor De Bersy an hour North from his Herefordshire base with a strong chance in the Alan Bore Belated 50th Birthday Novices' Hurdle.

This consistent five-year old hasn't finished out of the top three in any of his four career starts so far and earned a very solid win last time out at Fakenham where he made all the running.
The experienced Aidan Coleman gets the win and the touch of class that this French bred possesses should see him home.

15.00 Ludlow - Head To The Stars

Henry Daly's 11-year-old veteran is having a bit of a renaissance, so much so that he was entered into a Grade 3 last time out at Warwick.
Sixth of 15 wasn't a disgrace and now Head To The Stars returns to the scene of his last win at Ludlow and in a simpler Class 3.

A three length win over course and distance in December of last year puts Head To The Stars bang on for the Forbra Gold Cup (Sponsored By Flowfit) Handicap Chase.

16.00 Ludlow - Give Me A Copper

A Badger Beers Silver Trophy winner in another life when trained by Paul Nicholls, Give Me A Copper has a golden chance in the Butty Bach Open Hunters' Chase.

Now with point-to-point trainer Chris Barber, the 12-year-old Give Me A Copper finished an encouraging third in a hunter chase at Warwick in January.
Give Me A Copper can come on for that run and a strong pedigree in national hunt can give him the edge here.
