Comedaygoday is an unexposed five-year-old mare, who finished last in her last two outings, but those runs in were only in five-runner races after a few months off, and she clearly needed both runs.
Realistically, she performed fairly well last time out, making some headway briefly from the rear, but wasn't fluent at the last and then struggled from there to the line.
This time around, she's only been off 40 days with her other form reading 334, and those runs were in significantly larger fields. This will only be her second run for Lizzie Quinlan and Ross Chapman takes over the ride, so with all things considered, we can expect to see some improvement in the horse on her Catterick debut.

15:20 (Newcastle) Flash Bulb

Flash Bulb is a lightly-raced three-year-old filly, whose new stable has enjoyed a great season this year, and she definitely has the quality to go close after this increase in trip.

She ran her best race to date over nine furlongs at Gowran Park, and this step up to ten furlongs looks to be exactly what's needed.

Jason Hart takes the ride and the trainer-jockey strike rate is 20 per cent, with trainer Katie Scott seemingly in good form against the others. So while progress is needed, all things considered, the necessary improvement is likely and anything above 20/1 looks a generous offering if she gets a decent run.

15:40 (Leicester) Richardson

Richardson returns after some lengthy time off and may just be in luck at Leicester, where heavy conditions are expected for his drop back to a two-and-a-half-mile trip, which is the distance he won at this time two years ago.

Interestingly, on his last run at Worcester he made a mistake at the eleventh and never recovered, and but for that, after being held up, he appeared to be shaping up for a much better showing that day.

He also returns as John Groucott's only runner at the course before he sends four rides to Uttoxeter on Saturday, signalling there may be some confidence to go with the expected improvement.
And having won with a rating of 82, today's mark of 78 looks appetising, but most interesting of all, we've seen some healthy market support to clinch the decision regarding this seven-year-old's each way value .
