Here's a quick selection of our Planet Sport picks from Wincanton on Wednesday, March 2.

Kayf Taoi (13.55 Wincanton)

Ubetya (14.30 Wincanton)

Boombawn (15.05 Wincanton)

Alberic (15.40 Wincanton)
Branson Missouri (16.15 Wincanton)

Smoking Pigeon (16.50 Wincanton)

West Approach (17.20 Wincanton)

The following is some information on Planet Sport's three main picks from Wincanton.

13.55 Wincanton - Kayf Taoi

Wincanton is 20 minutes away from Paul Nicholls' Ditcheat base so Harry Cobden may as well ride this one to the course for the Racing TV Profits Returned Back To Racing Novices' Hurdle.

A second last time out at Hereford saw Kayf Taoi only touched off by three quarters of a length after a rough old run-in.

Entitled to have come on for that experience, the Kayf Tara six-year-old can assert the home advantage for Nicholls.

15.05 Wincanton - Boombawn

Sired by Arc winner Dylan Thomas, Team Skelton's Boombawn looks likely to go in sooner rather than later after posting a string of placed finishes.

Boombawm's last outing saw the five-year-old finish third behind no less than Jonbon and Good Risk At All in a savage looking maiden hurdle.

This easier looking novice event should see Boombawn bash the opposition on the way to better things after the Watch On Racing TV Novices' Hurdle.

16.50 Wincanton - Smoking Pigeon

Planet Sport aren't sure if this is a nod to smoked cuisine or a pigeon with a 20 Benson and Hedges habit but nevertheless this is a pick with wings.

Fergal O'Brien is fast asserting himself amongst jumps racing's big hitters and Smoking Pigeon is eyeing up a win after a second last time around at Huntingdon.

Conditional Liam Harrison takes off three pounds and Smoking Pigeon can get the bookies in a flap in the Visit racingtv.com Handicap Hurdle.
