JOHN & CHRIS LEDGER · STEPHANIE HATELEY · 3yo Gelding

Unraced gelding from the John & Chris Ledger stable who has trialled at Wangaratta last month and receives a 4lb claim for Stephanie Hateley. He was a 25/1,000 yearling purchase and does have some staying depth in the family through Reflect The Stars, but the stable debut figures are modest, with three placings from 20 starters. Exposed rivals set a clearer standard, so the market may guide.
