SARAH RUTTEN · CONNOR MURTAGH · 4yo Gelding
Placed when resuming at this track when third behind Oasis, beaten a length as a well-supported favourite after settling back and closing nicely. He did race keenly and laid in, so there was still room to do things better. The prior fourth on heavy ground at this venue was sound enough, and two placings from three tries around 6f support the distance. Wide draw is the query, but he rates highly.
