RENITA BEATON · · 3yo Gelding

Returns from a six-month break after ending last campaign with a fifth at Warwick, where he jumped awkwardly, led into the straight and tired late to be beaten just under four lengths. His debut fourth at Ipswich on soft ground also showed early speed, and a Sunshine Coast Inner Track trial third gives him a base for this. Trialled third and gets a 7lb claim, so he can return strongly.
