GAVIN BEDGGOOD · BEAU MERTENS · 8yo Gelding
Returns from a five-week freshening after finishing last in the Listed Testa Rossa Stakes at Caulfield, beaten over 11 lengths and unwanted in the market with no clear excuse. His previous run in the Listed Anniversary Vase was also soundly held when tenth, and he is unplaced from six starts in the past 12 months. Risking.
