ALEC LAIRD · KOBELI LIHABA · 6yo Gelding
Has been well held at his past two, finishing eighth in an Open at Vaal last start, beaten six and a half lengths by Secret Chord after starting at generous odds. His fifth at this track before that also saw him beaten six lengths, though it came in BM96 company and he is a proven track-and-trip winner. The top weight and plain recent form leave him with plenty to turn around.
