DARRYN PATEMAN · CASSEY MARTINAN · 7yo Gelding
Returns from a two-month break after winning at Carnarvon, where he was sent out favourite, rolled forward and beat Fire The Guard by just under a length. That was country company and this is a harder meeting, while his previous fourth in Open grade at Broome was beaten over 13 lengths.
