FACTEUR CHEVAL

MARK E CASSE · I ORTIZ JR · 7yo Gelding

Dug deep to win an ALLOW over 1m1/2f at this track last start, beating Highway Robber by half a length after settling rearward. The concern is that he was sixth in the G3 Mint Millions Invitational Stakes at Kentucky start prior, beaten just over four lengths after giving away a big start. His mile record is sound, but this assignment demands a sharper Group 1-level performance.
