ALLAN CHAU · BRANDON LERENA · 3yo Gelding
Backs up six days after finishing last on debut at Eagle Farm over 7f on heavy ground, beaten just over nine lengths as a long-odds chance. The 100/1,000 yearling purchase had trialled some time back and blinkers come off, but there was no clear excuse and 1m is untried. Has to find far more.
