FIRST ASSAULT

KEITH DRYDEN & LIBBY SNOWDEN · JORDAN QUINCE · 3yo Gelding

Returns from a lengthy lay-off after finishing sixth at Goulburn over 1m, beaten four and a half lengths, when settling well back and making steady late ground at generous odds. His Albury second to Mr Avery over 7½f reads better, and the 4lb claim helps under 9st4lb. The 6½f fresh is the query, but he can run into minor money.
