LIAM BIRCHLEY · BEN THOMPSON · 2yo Colt
Made a strong impression on debut at Eagle Farm, settling back before picking up sharply to finish third, beaten just over half a length by Iconic Scenes on heavy ground. The one-week back-up and 9st4lb are the points to consider, but he has already handled wet conditions and draws to get a better platform. The quick back-up is the query, but he brings the best exposed form.
