GOLDEN SYRUP

J E GRIEVE · JESSICA VALAS · 4yo Mare

Resumes after three months since a difficult Bunbury debut, where she was slow away, raced wide throughout and hung in before finishing last, beaten over 11 lengths. That run is not impossible to excuse in part, and first-time blinkers give her a new point of interest. There is scope to improve, but the first run left plenty to prove.
