DEAN KANNEMEYER · DEZAHN LOUW · 5yo Gelding

Returns from a lengthy ten-month lay-off after a flat finish to last campaign, closing it with a second-last over 1m1 1/2f at Greyville when beaten just over six lengths. He had also been only seventh at the same venue before that. A previous 7f win gives him some base to work from, but he was unplaced in four runs across the past 12 months and must show far more fresh.
