MATT CUMANI · · 4yo Gelding
Backs up after three days from a narrow St Arnaud second, where he was near the top of an open market and beaten just under a length after being steadied approaching the 4½f. His previous run was a heavy defeat in the Listed VRC St Leger over 1m6f at Flemington, so this is a very different assignment. Quick back-up asks a question, but he is a live place hope.
