JULIET OF VERONA

CANDICE BASS · JUAN PAUL V'D MERWE · 2yo Filly

Returns from a lengthy lay-off after ending the last campaign with a good win at this track, beating Red Flag by a length after being heavily backed into odds-on favouritism. That followed a close second to Peace Garland at Kenilworth, so the early record is sound. When resuming in this grade, she has to show that maiden form now carries across against seasoned rivals.
