KING JULIAN

PETER SNOWDEN · DEON LE ROUX · 3yo Colt

Was second last on debut at Illawarra Grange over 6f, beaten just under nine lengths at long odds after settling rearward and failing to make ground. That race-day evidence is plain, but he is a 400/1,000 colt who trialled last month and comes from the family of G1 winner Sunshine In Paris, so improvement with experience is plausible. Finds a much easier race this time around and can improve sharply.
