D WHITWORTH BECKMAN · EDGARD J ZAYAS · 2yo Colt
Won the G2 Pilgrim Stakes at Belmont Park Turf last start, beating Roscoe Goose by half a length at long odds after settling handy and finding enough late. The run prior was a fair fifth in the G1 Summer Stakes at Woodbine, beaten three and a half lengths. His one previous 1m attempt produced no placing, so he profiles as a solid place hope rather than a clear top pick.
