Failed to finish at Sunshine Coast in a BM70 last start after being unwanted in the market, which is a clear concern despite the move back from 1m1f. Two trials since, including a second at Deagon, at least suggest he has been kept up to the mark. His track-and-distance record and weight relief help, but his recent racing still demands a sizeable turnaround. Happy to miss.
