FRANCIS-HENRI GRAFFARD · JAMES DOYLE · 5yo Gelding

Returns from a lengthy three-month lay-off after a narrow second in the G3 Prix Gontaut-Biron at Deauville, beaten a long neck by Wimbledon Hawkeye. Before that he won the Listed Wolferton Stakes at Ascot from the same rival, so his recent form is solid and he owns a strong overall record. He has placed once from three starts at this distance, which points more to minor claims than a clear winning case.
