ROLL ON BIG JOE

R B HESS JNR · J R LEPAROUX · 6yo Gelding

Resumes after six months following a second in the G3 ARISTIDES STAKES at Churchill Downs, beaten just over a length by Cornucopian. The run before was another G3 second at Oaklawn Park, where Mad House edged him by half a length after he was well-supported favourite. His career and distance records are strong, but the layoff and depth of this field make it a stern return.
