SHORT STRAW

KATJA WARWICK · LISA STAPLES · 5yo Mare

Returns from a lengthy lay-off with a trial win at this venue two weeks ago, which at least suggests she has been readied for the comeback. She was third at Collie when last seen, beaten just over seven lengths after racing wide throughout, and had also placed at Toodyay before that. Race form is modest, so she must prove it under race pressure.
