SMUGGLER

SEAN TARRY · PHILASANDE MXOLI · 3yo Gelding

Returns from a lengthy lay-off after a fourth here over 1m, beaten just under four lengths behind Palace Guard when a firming favourite. His earlier fifth to Agoge was sound enough from a big price, and the Sean Tarry stable profile adds respect despite the absence. The back in trip and 9st6lb are fair questions, but his exposed form still reads strongly for a maiden of this shape.
