JIMMY DOWNES · JETT NEWMAN · 5yo Gelding
Was safely held at this track last start, finishing sixth behind Bring Me Kash and beaten just under four lengths at long odds after lacking a turn of foot. His previous Sunshine Coast second in Open grade had more merit, coming from well back after beginning awkwardly. The concern is his unplaced record from five starts at this track and distance, which makes this a tough assignment. Suspect this to be too rich for him.
