SWEET CHERRY

GARETH VAN ZYL · CALVIN HABIB · 2yo Filly

Returns from a two-month freshening and gets to her third run this campaign, which is the right stage for improvement. She was seventh behind Iceberg Rose at Scottsville, beaten just over five lengths, after a better debut fifth at this track in a 2yo MPLTE where she was close enough in betting. Having since lost to Forthegoodtimes and Gezouten Haring, she must sharpen, but the draw gives her a solid platform.
