TARANAKI NOMAD

KELLY MITCHLEY · CALLAN MURRAY · 3yo Gelding

Returns from a five-week freshening after finishing fifth over 1m1f at Greyville Aw, beaten just under eight lengths by Sutter's Mill despite being well-supported near the top of betting. He finished behind Scott's Bar there and was seventh at Scottsville the run prior. Weight relief is in his favour, but as an unplaced three-start maiden trying 1m3f, he profiles as a place hope with improvement to come.
