THE CARE TAKER

PAUL WALLACE · NOZI TOMIZAWA · 6yo Gelding

Finished second last on debut at Toowoomba, beaten over 20 lengths by Dracarian after settling rearward and never threatening. He was at long odds there and no clear excuse was supplied, so the class drop and positive gear-change signal have a lot of work to do. Blinkers on may help, but the exposed form is well short.
