CLINTON MCDONALD · BEAU MERTENS · 4yo Mare
Resumes after five months off with two trials since last racing, but she must leave behind a plain eighth at Pakenham Synthetic when beaten nine lengths before the break. Her previous Pakenham BM62 win over Jetsetter Jack showed she can control a race when right, and she has won her only 6f start. Hard to have on resumption.
