LIAM HOWLEY · DAMIEN THORNTON · 6yo Gelding
Has twice gone close in BM66 grade, most recently beaten a nose by Melek at Bendigo after racing wide early. He was also beaten a head at Seymour, so the competitiveness is there, but he now backs up quickly, drops from 1m4f to 1m2f and rises to a harder meeting. The quick back-up suits and he can fire.
