RICKY LUDWIG · ASHLEY BUTLER · 3yo Gelding
Went close in Open grade at Cairns last start, finishing second to Worthy Gem and beaten just under a length at long odds after being checked near the 4½f. That followed a sound third in a Maiden at Gordonvale when near the top of betting, so his form is heading the right way. Has placed at 6f and looks a sound each-way hope.
