MARIA POTIRIS · BEN KENNEDY · 5yo Mare
Returns from a lengthy lay-off with the strongest exposed southern form, highlighted by a Benchmark 70 third at Mornington when beaten just under two lengths after leading. She was eighth at Geelong in a Benchmark 62 at her final run before the break, but her wet-track record is excellent and she is top-rated across the past 12 months. The 4¾f is new, but her class makes her the one to beat.
